Google the dominant Xiti

As every month, Xiti , the statistics institute on the Internet, publishes a barometer of the search engines. The April 2008 edition presents the overall thrust that gives the undisputed leader of search engines.

Although this study of the entire month of April is derived from statistical francophone site, it shows great leadership of , which has just reached over 90% share of visits.

In a close second, Yahoo! offers a With just over 3% share of visits. It is followed by Live Search, AOL and Orange, which share three of them, a little over 5% share of visits. In this pack, the results are mixed because AOL and Live Search gradually gaining ground, but Yahoo! and Orange lost the lead and show a significant drop in their visitation.

Please note the arrival of Excite in the top 15 search engines with an increase of over 46% compared to the results of the previous month.

To conclude this month of April, the trend of search engines is a very wide domination of over its competitors and a rising side of Live Search and AOL, while Yahoo and Orange tumble from month to month.
