The battle Internet Explorer / Firefox is back
A year and a half after the last battle, Microsoft and Mozilla at it again coming out betas of their latest web browser: Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.
It was during the month of October 2006 that came out the two most popular browsers currently. At the time, Firefox was displayed as a real competitor where Internet Explorer reigned supreme and had even managed the impossible challenge of becoming a must-browser. Today, Microsoft has included its weaknesses and decided against going out attack at the same time as Firefox 3, the new version of its web browser.
Internet Explorer 8: the largest gap filled

Firefox 2: the buzz continued
Before the release of Firefox 3 expected in mid-June, Mozilla decided to launch a huge buzz to promote its web browser. She asks them to blow up the download counter of Firefox 3 during one day and preset and enter the annals as the most software downloaded in 24 hours.
