Ay! Foundation Mozilla enters the record books thanks to the incredible marketing campaign launched around the famous Download Day.
8002530 is the number of downloads of Firefox 3 made between 6:16 p.m. UTC 17 June, 2008 UTC and 6:16 p.m. June 18, 2008. This result therefore allows the software to enter the Guinness Book with the world record number of downloads in 24 hours.
This campaign has also helped put Microsoft in the background, knowing that he is about to leave, too, a new version of its browser, Internet Explorer 8, which is currently available in beta version.
You should know that right now, Firefox 3 has been downloaded more than 28 million times.
