LinkedIn: No. 2 in the U.S.

Linkedin n°2 continues its momentum, and becomes the number two in the United States: 33.9 million visitors in June 2011, against 33.5 for MySpace, the network for pro grew by over 60% of a year according to ComScore. An increase which is not unrelated to its recent IPO, giving it visibility and support of investors.

MySpace meanwhile continues to decline, with a drop of 50% per year. The music network has just recently have been acquired by Specific Media for $ 35 million: we are far from its purchase value to 580 million by News Corp. in 2005. remains far behind Facebook and its 160.9 million monthly visitors (+14%).

Number two in the U.S., is followed closely by Twitter and its 30.6 million visitors in June. The social network will be innovative to successfully counter the increasing competition increased. Monster comes for example to create a new integrated service to Facebook, and Google should take + a turn pro this year.
